Peanut Butter

Ingredients of Peanut Butter

  • Shrego’s – Light Roasted Split Peanuts (Unsalted) – 2 Cups
  • Peanut Oil – 1 to 2 tbsp
  • Honey – 1 to 2 tbsp (sugar or any other sweetener)
  • Salt to taste
  • Optional
    • Cocoa powder – 2 tbsp
    • Cinnamon – ½ tsp
    • Chocolate Chips
    • Nutella

 

Instructions

Take Shrego’ – Light Roasted Split Peanuts on a pan or microwave for 6 minutes at 350° F if you want dark, nuttier flavor peanut butter or directly add in a blender or processor and run for 1 minute continuously and then scrap down the sides and bottom of the bowl. Repeat this approximately 4 times or more till you see butter glossy and soft like a very thick peanut butter. Add salt, oil, sweetener and other optional ingredients and blend it for another 2 minutes. This butter will still be a little gritty than that available in market, but it will be spreadable. Taste and add salt, sugar or optional ingredients according to your needs.

If you wish to have a crunchy peanut butter, you reserve nuts prior to blending and add them after blending for crunchy, homemade peanut butter.
